We are pleased to announce the opening of our new computer lab in the Mt. Vernon office!! Two new computers are available to check Social Security or Medicare information, apply for benifits, complete forms, or whatever you need a computer for! There is a printer available as well! Call us at 812-838-4656 to schedule your time on the computer!
To help more families, we are now taking donations all year!! Every year we make Christmas bags and deliver them to local citizens in need. For Christmas of 2023, we were able to provide Christmas bags for 32 families and individuals. A big thank you to all who donated!! We hope to provide gifts for even more Posey County residents in 2024! If you would like to donate, here is a list of items needed.***Women's/men's socks, hats, gloves or mittens, slippers/house shoes, lotion, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, shaving cream/razors, hand soap, toothpaste/toothbrushes, nonperishable food items, nonperishable diabetic food items, throw blankets, wash clothes, games (puzzle books, playing cards, puzzles, etc.)*** Call 812-838-4656 for more information!

Posey County Council on Aging Centers

Posey County Council on Aging has three centers. They are located in Mt. Vernon, New Harmony and Poseyville.They each offer a variety of activities throughout the week. You may find the activities of each center on our Event Calendar page.

All three locations accept a donation of $7.00 for each meal. Reservations must be made at least one day in advance. PCCA strives to make senior citizens the best they can be with the supportive services offered. Local contributions and donations are an important source of funding and are tax deductible.
